I have used stencils (cross by Joy, maidenhair branch by Designs by Ryn), Distress Inks with an ink blender tool, clear embossing powder and masking sheets, working straight on the card blank. I have bulk made 25 invitations and envelopes, hopefully that will be enough :)
I started with yellow ink on the bottom. After that was dry, I continued with the pink, spreading ink into the cross and maidenhair corners and embossing them with clear embossing powder. The last phase was masking the edges once more and spreading green ink. The embossing gives a resist effect so the pink stands nicely out.
This is so neat. You've done such a good job on your project. What a great idea for a confirmation invitation. I hope you have a beautiful time when you celebrate this milestone in your daughter's life. God bless you, your daughter and your extended family as you serve our Lord.
