I cut some cream silk card (from Crafty Individuals) into squares, stamped the images (also CI) with Archival Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I just love all the detail that paper gives to the image, ink doesn't seem to make such a difference! I dabbed Black Soot from the Distress Inks on an acrylic block, diluted it and used a waterbrush to colour my "black and white photos"... and then a dab of colour just to make it pop. Mounting on a kraft card gives a cool frame, no more layers needed!
Wonderful cards! Isn't it fun to paint with distress inks? I think so too. Thank you for joining us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. ~Michelle
