Woyww-time again!

Where do these weeks fly? This is a picture heavy post, but for a good reason! I  happened to stop by Julia's blog between WOYWW's, and found out that she would like to see our stamps (did you know?) so thought I'd share mine, but work"space" first:

My "space" is down to nil: I was working on one thing (that yellow one) and started something else (the green one at the left) and then the post brought an envelope from VLVS and I had to cut the two stamp plates to pieces straight away :) I can see an April calendar sheet that should be packed away before it gets in a mess, a Donald Duck comic that is very much in the wrong place, a silver ink that I don't need anymore and the black piece on the right is my Rubbitscrubbit stamp cleaning pad, couldn't live without it! I prefer my stamps like this, totally unmounted, because they take less space. On top of the pile is one stuck on my Tackn'peel block, because I had to stamp it for you:

talk about me...

And the stamp storage? It's in two office units next to the window. I've mostly stored the stamps according to stamp company, not topics. The top drawer has acrylic blocks and cling mount sheets, next stencils, after these come the stamps:

Gorjuss stamps, the packaging takes more space than I'd wish...
five layers, full.
Small CB stamp sets...
5-6 layers, quite full, but could maybe turn them sideways.
A4 size CB stamp sets, 6 layers...full.
VivaLasVegaStamps... this is where those new stamps should go,
but there is over a kilo of stamps already.
Crafty Individuals, I count six layers, no more space here, I'm going to
unpack those freebies, might fit a couple more...
Used to be misc. clear stamps, but added misc rubber stamps after
winning a grab bag from Rubberdance.
Clear stamps from LawnFawn and Finnstamper... not full!

Misc. cling mounted stamps + my new Paperartsy stamps.
I want more PA stuff, need more space first :)
The VLVS drawer probably holds as much as the others together, looks like I'll have to move the stencils and acrylic blocks elsewhere, or the clear stamps... or start getting rid of the stamps I never use. Apart from these I have a box under the sofa for my wood mounted stamps, I have maybe ten or fifteen of them.

Wondering what this is all about? Check the Stamping Ground -blog for more desks and explanations!

  10. Thanks for visiting, Kristina. I did not have many stamps before my daughter found a SU dealer who retired and sold all of her stamps. My daughter bought them all for my birthday! I'm trying to come up with the best way to store them, so that's an ongoing project right now. Have a great week! Nann4 #45

  13. I have tried all kinds of ways to store stamps but seem to find them better when they are in companies. They look very tidy in their drawers. You are not the only one that ends up with several projects on the go at the same time, something always seems to distract one Lol!
Have a great and crafty woyww, Angela x 34

  15. The Lawn Fawn stamps seem so out of place with all your other more artsy stamps. I love that you use both. You have lots of stamps stored nicely. I like seeing what others do for storage and how they do it. I do some companies by name but most of my stamps are by theme (cats, flowers, flourishes, bugs, etc.) Judy #59

  16. Oh bliss, and oh how revealing...like Judy says, your different tastes in stamps is wonderful. My clear and u mounts are flat in drawers too, but drives me mad, am constantly trying to find a different way! Lovely to see all your stamps. And also reassuring thwt you notice things on your desk Only when you take a photo!

  17. Lovely goodies! When you get down to nil, you know you've been busy lol. I sort mostly by company too. I am a sleeve/page protector sheet junkie. And all my stencils that fit are stored in those sleeves in a binder. So I just pull it off the shelf and flip through.
