No burlap to be found in my stash, but while I was searching for it, I ran into this stuff that is somewhere between paper and fabric (my mom has brought it from Thailand several years ago for my crafty endeavors). I used a TH stencil with embossing paste and added a CI stamp (on tissuepaper) to cover the hole.
At this point I turned the tag and did the back with a selection of CI stamps. I had already stamped and coloured my bits and pieces: the "photo", sentiment and flowers are all CI stamps, the dragonfly (shrink plastic) is from Rubberdance. I used some music paper and some old book paper to mount the photo. A bit sweet for my taste, but the picture is lovely, as is the detail in those flowers and the dragonfly :)
|I didn't want this to be too thick, so stamped flowers suit me best.|
|So hard to get a pic of the lovely shades of Glimmer Mist!|
This is the time of year when swallows return to Finland for the summer :)
