Woyww 313

I just got home from my "field trip" to Italy with students. We had a gorgeous week, lovely weather and lovely people... So what's on my desk today? Happy mail from the UK = my swap ATC. It's beautiful, thanks, Mary Anne!

My altered book project has been travelling with me, I got some pages done... I posted the start on the project here (actually got a DT spotlight from Stampotique with it). On the road I've been colouring the stamped pages I'd done before leaving, practising some tangles (forgot to take a pic of them) and writing quotes I've run into.

love this stamp from VLVS!
I just ran into this quote from an ancient Persian poet... I managed to
space my text wrong, and fixed my mess with a white sharpie... it worked
surprisingly well, after some tangling it will probably not show.

And this last one... well I went to a jazz concert on my trip. The music was fun, they were good and lots of the songs were in Italian, so I didn't even try listening to the words... and at the and of a song all of a sudden the instruments were quite and the girl sang these works in clear Finnish: I have loved you with all the languages of the world. So I documented the quote in my book :)

More desks to be found at the Stamping ground blog, ready, steady, hop!

LOL! The verification thing was in your language, not English so I had to guess at what I was supposed to tick. Luckily I got it right! :)
